Limited Edition Prints are printed on the finest quality archival papers using Cone Edition Piezography "Neutral K7" inks for optimum print finish and maximum life. The longevity of each print is 70+ years or longer in a UV protected environment or under glass.
Piezography is the brainchild of Jon Cone, who in 1993 set about the difficult task of creating a method for digitally rendering photographic prints that rivaled traditional printmaking techniques and were worthy of gallery representation. The inks are pure carbon based, therefore the 'shades' of grey are truly grey-to-black gradiations. Better tone separation, more even transitions, more accurate control to render the highest quality black-and-white prints.
